A spellbinding visit by the children from ‘Yayasan Sunbeams Home’ to FTMS College had cherished the staff to the most. It was a beautiful Friday morning and with the arrival of these children, the day has been blessed further more.

Upon the arrival, a small ice breaking session was held and later breakfast was provided to them. Once after the mealtime, they were taken on a short tour around the building to introduce the remaining staff as well as to familiarize them with our staff from different department. The children were greeted with a broad smile by all the staff.

An amusing speech was given by Mr. Trevor, which encourages them to talk freely. Shortly, the team of staff came up with various games such as poison box, music chair, say a word with the initial of name, etc. that engrossed the children more. They enjoyed each and every game held. A big round of applause was deserved by them for their sporting attitude.

While they were being mesmerised with games, a sudden visit by the managing director, Mr. Balbir Singh Mangat and principal of FTMS Malaysia, Mr. Sajilal Divakaran, had evenly overjoyed by the young.

Shortly after, the children were provided with their favourite food while they were made to watch a movie during the lunch. The recreational time of watching movie ended when they were asked to move into computer labs to learn some technological aspects which would be very useful for them in the future. At this juncture, children started to show their skills of using computers without much guidance by the staff. Again they proved their aptitude of learning.

The zealous time of learning came to a stop subsequently and again, the principal of FTMS Malaysia, Mr. Sajilal Divakaran, gave an inspiring speech to the children. Immediately after, the moment of lucky draw was applauded as many children had gotten a prize that they embraced with happiness.

The fulfilling day with children was enclosed with the donations from college where various personnel involved. The donations were received wholeheartedly by the staff of ‘Yayasan Sunbeams Home’ and thanked the college for their compassion. FTMS Student Services Department would like express sincere thanks to those involved in giving donation. They will always be in FTMS diary. All these events were magnificently captured to be kept as memoirs by FTMS Malaysia.

The valuable experience had by the children as well as the staff will remain and be cherished in memories forever. Via this event, these children have taught us the precious love that should be given and taken with all people no matter who they are regardless of their race and religion. Let’s capture these moments in our heart and always share the valuable love.
